Toshio Fukuda isa professor of the 1000 Talent Plan for High-Level Foreign Experts at Beijing Instituteof Technology, and also Member of Science Council of Japan. He received the ChineseGovernment “Friendship Award” (2014). He pioneered the research in themicro-nano robotic manipulation for biomedical engineering. He is mainlyengaging in the research fields of micro-nano robotics, bio-robotic system andintelligent robotic system.
